How are pea shoot blends grown?
Each ingredient in our blend is grown carefully – with each tiny shoot requiring different growing techniques. Our pea shoots are grown in trays on a natural kitchen towel base, firstly in a dark temperature controlled space and then inside the glasshouse where they thrive under natural and artificial light. Microgreens are grown on a compostable wood pulp base and also nurtured in glasshouses; they’re harvested young – typically within 7–14 days, depending on the seed variety.
