Before the germinated seed reaches the glasshouse, we sow our crops to precise schedules, carefully managing the specific germination and growing cycles of each plant, all led by our expert growing team.

Our biomass heating system, which uses sustainable wood pellets to generate energy, ensures that our glasshouses are kept at the perfect temperature while supporting our sustainability commitments. We’re also incorporating more solar energy across our sites to reduce our environmental impact and help our customers achieve their net-zero goals. Additionally, our state-of-the-art water system has been specifically designed for our business to increase oxygen levels, prevent bacteria and enhance crop quality. Our advanced water and irrigation system reflects our uncompromising standards in ensuring that our produce surpasses expectations every time.
Keeping a close eye on our crops is essential. We do multiple “crop walks” each day to inspect the produce and determine if any adjustments are needed to maintain health and quality before harvest. Once our crops reach the production lines, our efficient systems allow us to pack up to 250 punnets of salad cress per minute, ensuring a consistent supply of fresh produce is guaranteed all year round.
