Microgreens

Our microgreens

Our premium microgreens are grown for colour, flavour, and resilience – ensuring they not only look fantastic but hold up in a professional kitchen environment. From fresh Thai basil to red vein sorrel, our range is selected to deliver recognisable, well-balanced flavours your customers will appreciate. We’ve worked closely with chefs and suppliers to refine our best-performing Sakura mix, one that feels familiar, is easy to work with and tastes great.

Every product is trialled for structure, durability and flavour so you get reliable results in every dish.

Microgreens are available in small or large punnets and cut products in 30g, 100g, 500g bags or a 16 punnet Sakura mix.

Our selection of Microgreens for foodservice include:

Insightful growing

We grow our microgreens on a compostable wood pulp base in precisely controlled environments where everything from humidity to lighting is monitored. Germination typically takes between 3 and 10 days, depending on the variety – parsley, for instance, takes up to five weeks from start to finish. During growth, we use targeted LED light which helps the plants thrive while minimising energy use.

Smart & sustainable practices

Our growing operations are powered by a biomass heating system that uses sustainable wood pellets, backed by solar energy across our sites to further cut emissions. We also use energy-efficient LED lighting and minimal water thanks to an advanced irrigation system. All our packaging, plastic punnets and card boxes, is also fully recyclable. And our growing media is a sustainable wood pulp alternative to compost, helping reduce environmental impact even further.

Order & delivery

We supply a wide range of foodservice partners, from sandwich makers to national hotel and pub chains. While we don’t supply directly to individual venues, we work with trusted distributors to ensure our products reach professional kitchens quickly and in top condition. Orders can also be collected from our West Yorkshire site or delivered in bulk through our logistics partner, Fowler Welch.
